FORMS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST NEGATIVE SELF-ESTEEM ON FEMALE VICTIMS

Abstract


Harga diri negatif adalah salah satu efek dari viktimisasi perempuan oleh kekerasan. Manifestasi kekerasan berupa fisik, seksual, dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara berbagai bentuk kekerasan dan harga diri negatif pada perempuan korban di Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. 350 perempuan yang pernah mengalami kekerasan fisik, seksual, atau mental menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Skala kekerasan dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) digunakan sebagai alat ukur dalam penelitian ini. Uji Spearman Rho digunakan untuk melakukan analisis statistik nonparametrik dari data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kekerasan fisik, seksual, dan psikis berkorelasi positif dengan harga diri negatif pada korban perempuan di kota Makassar (r = 0,299 dan p = 0,000; fisik: r = 0,128 dan p = 0,016; seksual: r = 0,227 dan p = 0,000; psikologis: r = 0,302 dan p = 0,000). Artinya, semakin sering frekuensi kekerasan fisik, seksual, dan psikologis, semakin tinggi harga diri negatif korban perempuan. Kekerasan psikologis memberikan pengaruh terbesar pada harga diri negatif (r=0,300). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan bagi penanganan perempuan korban kekerasan, termasuk pemberian intervensi terkait harga diri.
